Sunday afternoon

after the disappointment of the called race everybody headed to MRP for some fun and socializing. Our logistic genious Chief Savering enjoys some time with Ken Warby.

even though the race did not happen, Laura still had a big smile after taking the outer limits for a few spins.

well, the weather unfortunately did not cooperate. Ouside of the inlet it was like a pea soup.
Visibility was miserable. All the boats ran a parade lap and headed back in when the race was called.

it seemed the fog started to lift and everybody was ready to do some racing.

our invite to an oil wrestling party on a yacht turned into a soggy ride. As soon as we left the dock a major lightning storm forced us to turn around. :-(

Saturday

on Saturday the weather went south in a hurry!

Friday evernings boat parade in Point Pleasant caused some traffic problems in the staging area.

The AMF equipment arrives in Point Pleasant after a long and exhausting haul from Jacksonville, FL.

AMF Offshore owner, John Haggin announced that Ken Warby, FASTEST MAN ON WATER (317.60), has accepted the position of "Advisor to the AMF Director of Racing" in matters pretaining to boat operations, maintenance, scheduling and control.
